38 Week Doctor Appointment

So we made it to my doctor appointment this week... I was hoping that we wouldn't be coming due to the fact that a baby had arrived but that didn't seem to happen.... soooo doctor stuff....

I weighed in at 155 lbs and my uterus is 38 cm (I am feeling quite large and I just keep getting bigger!!) My total weight gain is 28 lbs. Still not bad but thats a good amount of weight for a little person to put on their body, and mine feels it. My poor skin has stretched WAY past its ability and now looks like a pair of stockings worn by a 3 year old... full of runs. And we all know that once a tiny run gets into your stockings, it just keeps tearing....

Doctor Lanter checked my current progress and she said I feel the same way I did in the hospital over a week ago ( 1cm dilated and about 80% effaced)

On the bright side she did estimate that I would go into labor this weekend, so we will see!!!

Baby's heartbeat sounds fantastic and he bops around all day long!

I FINALLY got all of my leave paperwork into her this week so everything is in motion!!

I'm very glad everything check out healthy and normal this week. Hopefully this will be my last appointment!! Well... until baby #2...
