This week has been filled with very anxious waiting!!
But like they always say... the best things in life are worth waiting for!
The past few weeks lying down for an extended period of time causes a good deal of pain in between my legs, and that makes for super painful night time trips to the bathroom!! I'm sure it is quite a sight to witness me walk (more like bounce) across the room due to the difficulty walking from the pain.
Turning over is a whole other story. I have gained 30 pounds and they are all quite literally in my belly, so when I make the move to turn in bed I have to fully commit! I better be absolutely positive that is the side I want to be on because I wont be moving anytime soon after!
I drink more water in one day than I think a fish swallows in his life time... and this isn't just your short lived goldfish you won at the fair. I'm talking whale shark status here. I am ALWAYS thirsty and can never get enough to drink. Ever. And while we are on the topic of water... I love/crave ice. There is something about the flavor ( I know what you are thinking, Ice is water, it has no flavor but just hear me out...) of the ice from our freezer ( now I know what you are thinking again... ewww... something that tastes like the freezer is NEVER a good thing) that is so amazing. Now for all you " I love the smell of wet cement" or "Newly cut grass" or "smell of the first rain" or "wet dirt" people out there you know what I mean when I say there is just something about things that smell/taste earthy that make you want more!! The ice from our freezer has that earthy flavor that I just can't seem to get enough of. As I talk about it now my mouth craves the taste. As a child I would get out of our pool and lay straight on the cement just to get it wet so I could sit there and smell until it until I felt like my brain was going to dry out from breathing through my nose too much. I'm afraid this craving will not fade with pregnancy. I love the taste of our ice ( and don't worry, I'm not anemic. I have been tested)
