Ok... I know you have probably read blog after blog and post after post about every one's baby's first Christmas. So I'm not going to bore you with that. I will say though that Kael didn't really pay much attention to gifts and didn't quite understand how to open them, and surprisingly didn't play with any of the wrapping paper.... but he did receive some wonderful things from Mommy and Daddy, Santa, and his Grandparents. We all know that Christmas isn't about gifts or Santa, and in our house we really try to take the focus away from those Hallmark items. This year Sterling and I did not get each other anything and we kept our focus on our family and the happiness around us. Went spent Christmas itself with my family in Arrowhead and then headed down on Sunday and spent the afternoon with the Sheppard side (being my cousins and aunts and uncles) at my aunt Lynne's house in Burbank. It was so fabulous to spend time with everyone!
When we finally got home to the Andrews' Sunday night, we had Christmas with Sterling's direct family and Grandma Andrews. We enjoyed every bit of it.
We had a fantastic Christmas with our family this year.
